Organize PDF pages

Drag pages into a new order, rotate, delete or add blank pages.

Your result

Open a PDF to see its pages here and start rearranging them.

How it works

The PDF opens in this browser tab and each page appears as a thumbnail, drawn with pdf.js. Thumbnails are drawn only for the pages near what you are looking at, so a 500-page file scrolls as smoothly as a short one. Your changes are kept as a list of pages, not applied to the file, until you save. Then pdf-lib, an open-source PDF library, copies the pages in your new order into a fresh PDF in a background worker, adding each turn to the page's existing rotation and inserting any blank pages.

Pages in the new file = pages kept + pages added from other PDFs + blank pages

Worked example: putting a mortgage packet in the lender's order

The lender asked for the application first, then 2 pay stubs, then the bank statements. Your 12-page scan has the statements first. Type 9-12 in the page box and choose Select, then drag the selection to the start. Delete the blank back of page 4, add the W-2 you saved separately with "Add pages from another PDF", and drag it after the pay stubs. The summary shows the new page count and how many pages were removed, turned or added before you save.

Your files stay on your device

Nothing is uploaded. The PDFs are read from your disk into this tab, the new file is built on your device, and it goes straight to your downloads. Close the tab and nothing is left behind. That is why the tool is safe for the documents people most often reorder: loan and rental applications, tax returns, medical records and signed contracts.

Only need one kind of change? Rotate PDF, Delete PDF pages and Extract PDF pages do one job each with fewer buttons.

Questions people ask

How do I move a page to a different spot?

Drag it by the dotted handle that appears when you hover over or tap a page. To move several at once, select them first (Ctrl-click or Shift-click, or type their numbers and choose Select) and drag any one of them. On a keyboard, select pages and press Alt with the arrow keys, or use the Move left and Move right buttons.

Can I add pages from another PDF?

Yes. Choose "Add pages from another PDF" and pick one or more files. Their pages go to the end, marked with the file they came from, and you can then drag them anywhere. Password-protected files ask for their password first.

I deleted the wrong page. Can I get it back?

Yes. Press Undo, or Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac), and Redo with Ctrl+Y. The tool remembers your last 100 changes until you open a different PDF. Nothing is saved until you choose Save PDF, and your original file is never changed.

How big is an added blank page?

The same size as the page just before it, so a blank added after a Letter page is Letter size and one after an A4 page is A4. It goes after the last selected page, or at the end if nothing is selected.

Can I organize a password-protected PDF?

Yes, if you know the password. It is used only in this browser tab. The saved PDF has no password, so lock it again afterwards if it needs one.

Will bookmarks, links and form fields still work?

Page content, images, text and page sizes are copied exactly, and web links on a page keep working. The bookmarks outline is not carried over, links that jump to another page may stop working, and fillable form fields may stop being fillable.
