fixnfigure.com is operated by FixnFigure ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using the tools

You may use our tools free of charge for personal and business purposes. You may use the results (calculations, converted files, invoices you create) for any lawful purpose.

Estimates, not advice

Every result is an estimate based on the numbers you enter and the assumptions explained on each page. Results are not professional tax, legal, financial, engineering, medical or veterinary advice. Check important figures with a qualified professional before acting on them. In an emergency involving a pet, contact a veterinarian or an animal poison control line immediately.

Official rules change

Where a tool applies an official rule, such as overtime law, a passport photo size or a tax rate, we link to the source and check it from time to time, but rules change. Always confirm with the official source before you file, submit or pay.

Your files and inputs

Files you open in our tools are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us, so we never see or store them. You're responsible for having the right to use them, for keeping your own copies, and for checking every output before relying on it. Tools that remove a PDF password are meant for files you have the right to open; you must not use them to get around protections you aren't entitled to bypass.

Acceptable use

Don't access the site in bulk with automated tools, interfere with its security or (once they run) its ads, copy the site or its tools to present as your own, or use the tools or their outputs to deceive anyone. For example, don't create forged documents, false invoices or fake signatures.

Our content

The site's text, design and code belong to us, except for open-source components, which are used under their own licences (see open-source licences). Organizations we cite, such as government agencies or veterinary references, own their names and content, and citing them doesn't mean they endorse us.

Ads and links

The site will show ads and links to other websites. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party sites, products or advertisers.

No warranty

The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.

Indemnity

If you misuse the site or break these terms, and someone makes a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

Copyright concerns

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, contact our contact inbox, which is being set up and will be listed here as soon as it works with: the work, the page address, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for them.

Changes and general terms

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
